This Privacy Policy explains how Daily Charades collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Daily Charades mobile app or website at dailycharades.com.

Daily Charades is designed to avoid collecting information that directly identifies you. We may collect or process the following categories of information:
- Game progress and preferences: information stored on your device, such as whether you have played before, basic gameplay state, and settings needed to operate the app.
- Usage analytics: privacy-conscious analytics events, such as page views, gameplay interactions, device/browser type, referrer, and approximate location derived from network information.
- Advertising information: ad-related identifiers, impression data, clicks, approximate location, device information, and other information used to show, measure, and improve ads.
- Technical information: device type, operating system, app version, network information, crash or diagnostic data, and similar information needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and improve Daily Charades;
- remember local gameplay progress and preferences;
- understand aggregate usage and performance;
- show, measure, and improve advertising;
- detect, prevent, and troubleshoot fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues; and
- comply with legal and app-store requirements.
Analytics
We use Umami Analytics to understand how people use the Daily Charades website and app. Umami is configured as a privacy-conscious analytics service. It helps us measure aggregate usage without building profiles for targeted advertising.
Advertising and ad measurement
Daily Charades uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google and its partners may collect and use information such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver ads, limit fraud, cap frequency, and measure ad performance. Depending on your device settings, consent choices, location, and Google policies, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
We use RevenueCat to monitor ad performance and revenue. RevenueCat may receive ad impression, click, revenue, device, app, and diagnostic information so that we can understand and improve ad performance. RevenueCat is not used by us to sell your personal information.

- You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies and local storage on the website.
- You can uninstall the app to stop further collection through the app.
Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Information stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it, clear app/browser storage, or uninstall the app.
Children
Daily Charades is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International transfers
Daily Charades and the third-party services listed above may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws.
